RE: The Critical Issue of Knowing the True Names and Titles of our Father, and our Messiah
And............Why I use Jah on this web site.
There is no question in my mind that this subject is a critical one, and a vital matter to get clear on. It is apparent that our King James Bible was not translated with the correct Names and Titles. My problem has been all of the confusion concerning the Names and Titles, with everyone that expounds upon the subject thinking they have the correct ones, and that everyone else is in error. How many spellings and pronunciations there are. It is therefore possible that we have not come to the correct ones as of yet, and may not until the advent of Zion where all Truth is to come from. I am in no way a language scholar, and so this Truth will have to come from another. Maybe someone already has this vital subject correct, but I have not as yet become settled on any of what I call at present as "opinions." As
of now, the enemy has used this subject to cause even more division in the
Ecclesia, and I am sick of it. So
sick that I have thrown up my hands concerning them.
As for the name of our Father, I decided to go with what I could
see in the Word, and just wait on Jah to settle the issue, and He will do
that as He has said that He would make His Name known throughout the
earth. WHY I AM PRESENTLY USING "JAH" Psalms 91 is a famous scripture that many want to use as their “insurance policy.” What they do not see is that Jah said all that is in this chapter to David for a reason. Here is the reason:14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.First, we see that knowing His name IS an important subject. Next, this was the reason that Jah spoke this chapter to David. I have to ask, can we claim the promises in this scripture without knowing His Name???So,
what was the Name that David knew according to the King James version?
We find that in Psalm 68, and it is the ONLY place that His name is
mentioned in the whole Bible. 4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.We also have the praise term of “Hallelujah.” This interprets to mean, "Praise be to Jah." This spelling, (interestingly enough) and pronunciation are the same in every language, and I do know that He receives such praise. This is why I have switched to using Jah while I wait on Him to bring forth the true light.People have criticized me for using the "J" instead of the "Y," stating that the "J" came into being far after the writing of the Bible. It is always amazing to me on how many matters people can get hung up on. I have read somewhere that the translators used the "J" because it is masculine, and not the "Y" because it is feminine. I do not know that this is really true, but do go with it for now. Certainly, Jah is NOT feminine. We do need the truth of this subject, and I will switch to the correct Names & Titles when I have become settled in them. This would be quite a task, as there must be somewhere between 5,000 & 10,000 entries to deal with. It sure won't get done in a days time.I do know that all of the basic enlightenment for writing what I do came to me while I was using the prominent Names & Titles, and have cast out devils in the Name of Jesus. The devils certainly knew in whose authority I came, believe me.I have also prayed prayers in Jesus' Name where miraculous healings took place . I have been in groups where wonderful Praise and Worship were taking place, and it was quite glorious. When this is happening, an hour can go by and it only seems like about ten minutes. Do not try to tell any of those people that their Praise was of no effect because they were using the wrong Names and or Titles. How many wonderful songs / hymns were written in the past that were obviously inspired from above that used the King James version of the Names and Titles? Have you ever sung songs from the Psalms??? Who would tell me there is not any true praise and worship in them??? Anyone that would try to do so would be one very ignorant individual, and certainly NOT one who has learned how to praise Jah. No one can tell me that I have not walked with Christ, or received from the Father while using the Names and Titles found in the King James version. I would laugh at anyone who tried to condemn me for such, and label it ludicrous. Oh, how many times I have received answers to my prayers to be delivered from desperate situations while praying to "God" in the Name of Jesus, and in the faith taught on this web site. I have to wonder how many using the name Yahweh have experienced all that I have while using the very names and titles they would condemn me for using??? When people swear, they use God, Jesus, Christ, etc., and they know who such refers to, and is certainly something prompted by the enemy. You certainly never hear swearing in Satan's name, or any derivative of it. I was raised in a "Christian" church, and came to Christ at a very early age. Now being 74 yrs. old, I can say that in most of my life I used what people are now calling the wrong names and titles. I first came into the realization concerning the error of the names in the early 80's. I did not start using what I thought were the correct names at the time, and did not do so until around 1990, for no one I had contact with would understand, and it would only lead to being a stumbling block for them. Then I discovered that even what I had learned to be the correct ones were more than likely error. So, now I have several different spellings on my web site, as each article was written in a different time period. Just like it is in the whole body of believers, it is a mess of confusion. For this I apologize. Be patient with me, for I will get it straightened out. It
would matter not what I used on my web site, someone would be offended by
it, and so I just shrug my shoulders and wait on Jah to get the confusion
cleared up. When that day
comes, I will eliminate all the Names and Titles that are error. Many say that we should not be calling ourselves "Christians" for that is a great error. In
Acts 11, it is written: 26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.Whether this be right or wrong, that is all that we have right now in the Word as it presently stands. The enemy uses everything they can to cause division, and to make us doubt the Bible as an authentic writing. I do not listen to any of it, but do seek Jah on the truth of this subject, and know that it will be made known in His time. In the meantime, I do not allow myself to get hung up on what to use, and what not to use. He has been most gracious and merciful to me in all of my walk with Him, regardless of where I might be ignorant. Now, in saying all of this, I in no way want to minimize the importance of knowing the truth of this subject. WE MUST KNOW HIS TRUE NAME!!! This without question is a FACT. We must always stand ready to receive correction. I am just trying to bring some balance to the subject, and deliver a few from their stiff-neck. What I am really looking for is the day that people finally understand the devilishness of division and strife, especially over doctrine, leave off from it forever, and learn how to LOVE ONE ANOTHER above ALL ELSE!!! No one will be of any value to the reaching out to others in the great awakening that lies just ahead until they LEARN THAT ONE!!! Larry G. Meguiar
